IAF: Selection of Qualified and Pre-final year engineers in Technical Branch

SELECTION FOR QUALIFIED / FINAL YEAR ENGINEERS (MEN & WOMEN)

AND PRE-FINAL YEAR ENGINEERS FOR UNIVERSITY ENTRY SCHEME (UES)

IN TECHNICAL BRANCHES OF INDIAN AIR FORCE

 

Dear Student, 

Please Note: 

 

1.         Indian Air Force has invited applications from Qualified Engineers / Final year Engineering students (Men & Women) for induction as Permanent / Short Service Commissioned Officers in its Technical branches.  The final year students need to complete their degree and should be able to produce original / provisional degree certificate by 15 Dec 2009. Advertisement for the same has been published in Employment News dated 07-13 Feb 2009 and other leading national / regional daily newspapers on 08 Feb 2009.

 

2.         All the details, such as, educational qualifications, age, procedure for selection, application format and other relevant information has been adequately covered in the advertisement.  A copy of advertisement alongwith application format is attached herewith.

 

3.         Eligible and willing candidates can apply as per procedure mentioned in the advertisement. The last date for receipt of applications is 09 March 2009.

 

4.         You are requested to dissimilate the above information amongst the eligible candidates of your Institute.  The information may also be passed on to the candidates those who have recently graduated and are keen to join Indian Air Force.  The selection process is for 76 AEC (Men) / 48 SSC (Men & Women) courses which will commence in Jan 2010.  And University Entry Scheme (UES) course commence in Jul 2010
